When can we start working again?

Dear friends,

We have now reached a month of confinement. It is very difficult for everyone, but it is more difficult for us who are part of the world of catering, with bars, restaurants and pizzerias which will be among the last to be able to open. We must also not give in to the temptation to indulge in depression. If you are in good ealth this is already the most important thing. Then we must not forget that we are working in an area that is part of the world heritage of humanity.

We will not let this rot. No one can afford it. We will all come back to our jobs with our friends caterers, bartenders etc., all shocked of course, but like at the end of a war, full of desire to live and enjoy the beauties and pleasures of life. Here in Italy to date the factories are expected to reopen on April 14. I speak in the conditional because everything changes constantly and oddly especially around Saturday-Sunday. We at MAIA are still there, operational in telework. The end of rigid confinement is now taken for granted by May 4, provided that the downward trend in the dead and infected continues.
